Where Fine Art Training Meets Strategic Execution

I'm Mariela—a Dominican-born creative director, strategist, and educator based in Miami.

Four years after earning my BFA in Photography and Digital Media, I made the leap into fashion photography. Today, I work with founders through education and execution, teaching marketing strategy to emerging creatives while directing brand transformations through Béasol Studio, work that requires both creative vision and strategic discipline.

My fine art training taught me to think in systems, beyond the beautiful images. To see the relationship between negative space and brand positioning. To understand that a well-directed shoot and a well-executed marketing campaign require the same thing: clarity of vision and strategic follow-through. As an interdisciplinary creative, I'm endlessly fascinated by architecture, furniture design, sculpture, and how these fields inform smarter visual communication.

Marketing campaigns strategized and executed

Photography opened the door to a diverse creative community that challenges me daily. But what started as capturing images evolved into something larger: teaching others to build authority through strategic creativity, directing shoots that tell complete brand stories, and founding Béasol Studio to bring that same integrated approach to clients who refuse to choose between beautiful work and work that performs.

Everything I create, whether it's a fashion editorial, a marketing framework, or an educational resource, exists at the intersection of artistic rigor and commercial strategy. Because I believe you shouldn't have to sacrifice one for the other.

Let's Work Together

Beyond my creative practice, I teach marketing strategy and creative direction to entrepreneurs and creatives building their own authority. Through YouTube, I share the frameworks and strategic thinking I use in my own work: everything from brand positioning to creative campaign development.

Whether you're here to learn or ready to hire, there are a few ways we can work together:

Brand partnerships • Photography • Creative consulting

Creative direction • Marketing strategy • Brand design

How I Work

1. Strategy First
Before I touch a camera or open a design file, I ask: What's the goal? Who's the audience? What needs to be communicated? Beautiful work is the outcome of strategic thinking, not a replacement for it.

2. Multidisciplinary by Design
The best creative solutions borrow from unexpected places. I pull from architecture, editorial design, and fine art to solve marketing and branding challenges.

3. Execution Matches Vision
Ideas are easy. Bringing them to life with precision is the work. I obsess over lighting, composition, typography, and every detail that separates good from exceptional.
